The Links, Incorporated, founded in 1946 is an international, not-for-profit organization with a mission to enrich and sustain the cultural and economic vitality of African American communities. The membership consists of over 17,000 professional women of African American descent in 299 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and the United Kingdom. It is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations. Links members contribute more than 1 million documented community service hours annually to strengthen their communities and enhance the nation.
The Westchester County (NY) Chapter, chartered in 1950, has proudly served the Westchester community for 75 years, focusing on Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services.
